Adding your account

Enter your NZ bank account number as it appears on your bank statement: bank, branch, account and suffix, for example 12-3456-7890138-00. We show the groups back to you and check the number against the banks' published check-digit rules, which catches most typing mistakes before anything is paid. Adding or changing a payout account needs a code from whichever two-factor method you have switched on; an authenticator app is the stronger choice. Approval queues released escrow for the next business-day payout run to this account. Bank processing and any required checks can affect when it arrives.

Payouts and refunds approved before 2pm on a business day are usually sent the next business day. If one hasn't been sent within 5 business days, we'll tell you and look into it.

How we check the account is yours

Payouts go only to an account in your own verified name, or in your company's legal name. When you save the account, we compare the account name you enter with your verified name. Before the first payout to an account, Wlbr's operator checks it with the bank's name check (Confirmation of Payee) and records the result. A trading-name or joint account can be accepted only with a bank letter or statement header that shows you hold it. If the bank reports no match, we don't pay, and we contact you.

Changing your account

Every owner on the account and your contact email get an email when the payout account is added or changed. A payout to a new or changed account waits until that check is recorded. After a change it also waits a set period, unless we confirm the change with you by phone. A payout that was already queued before the change is still paid to the account it was queued with. Wlbr never asks you to change your payout account by email or text message. If you get a message like that, contact us before doing anything.
