How to approve a release
3 min read
Releasing the escrow to the seller - when to do it, what it triggers, and what to do if the work isn't right.
Approve only when the work is done
Releasing is the point of no return: the moment you approve, the escrow pays out to the seller. Never approve early because a seller asks - the whole point of escrow is that you approve after you are happy with the work.
How to approve
- Open your payment link or sign in to your dashboard.
- Review the work against what you agreed.
- Hit Approve release. The seller is paid out to their nominated bank account - typically same or next business day.
- You both get a receipt, and the ledger records the release permanently.
Not happy with the work?
Do not approve, and do not just go quiet. Open a dispute from the payment page: the funds freeze where they are, both sides put their case, and our team decides the outcome under our 5-day internal resolution target. Nothing moves until it is decided.
Once released, a payment cannot be pulled back through wlbr - only approved while you are genuinely satisfied.
