Is this really Wlbr?

A genuine Wlbr payment

• Wlbr runs at wlbr.app and nowhere else. A real payment link starts with https://{domain}/. Check the address bar before you pay, and if in doubt type {domain} yourself rather than following a link.
• A payment request comes from a business you are dealing with. It names that business, what the payment is for and the amount, and it takes you to a checkout page at wlbr.app.
• You pay from your own bank: either through your banking app, where your bank shows you who you are paying before you approve it, or by bank transfer using the details shown on your checkout page.
• Wlbr's bank account details appear on your checkout page at wlbr.app and nowhere else.
• If you have a Wlbr account, every genuine payment you have been asked for or have made is listed when you sign in at wlbr.app.

Wlbr will never

• Send you a bank account number by email, text message, social media or chat. If a message gives you an account number to pay "Wlbr", it is not from us.
• Ask for your Wlbr password, a sign-in code, or the codes from your authenticator app, by phone, email or chat.
• Ask you to tell us your internet banking password, or to install software so someone can see or control your screen. When you pay through your bank, you approve the payment with your bank or with Akahu, our open-banking provider, not by giving your details to anyone at Wlbr.
• Ask you to pay with gift cards, cryptocurrency, cash or a money transfer service. Wlbr payments are New Zealand bank payments only.
• Ask you to move a payment off Wlbr to "release it faster" or to pay a fee to get your money released.

Check a payment request

Type the reference on the request and the email address it was sent to. If it is a real Wlbr payment requested from that address, we'll email the genuine link to that address. We don't show anything about the payment here, so this page can't be used to look up someone else's payment. If no email arrives, the request did not come from Wlbr.
