How these numbers are made.
Transparency only counts if the method is stated. This is exactly how each figure above is produced.
- Source of truth
- Every figure is computed from the append-only, hash-chained ledger and the orders table at request time. Nothing on this page is edited by hand.
- What counts
- Real escrows only. Simulated (test) orders and soft-deleted records are excluded, and so are their ledger entries - test money is not customer money.
- Funds held
- Derived from ledger movements, not order status, so the displayed balance cannot drift from the money in the trust account.
- Dispute rate
- Disputed escrows divided by funded escrows - counted per escrow, not per dollar, so a few large escrows can't flatter the number.
Verify it yourself
Every escrow issues a public proof page showing its ledger trail - no login required. If you have a proof token from a transaction, you can independently confirm every movement against the chain.
