Why we ask
wlbr is a registered financial service provider (FSP1012829) with anti-money-laundering obligations under NZ law. Before you can receive money through the platform, we verify who you are - it protects every buyer and seller on the platform, and it is a one-off.
What you need
Verification runs through Didit, our identity partner, in a secure hosted flow. Your documents are checked for authenticity and matched against your face.
- A NZ driver licence or passport.
- A phone or computer with a camera.
- About two minutes.
If your check stays pending
Most checks complete in minutes. If yours sits pending, the usual cause is a driver licence whose card version number could not be validated against the government source - retaking the photos in good light (making sure the small version number by the photo is readable) usually fixes it. If it is still stuck, contact support and our compliance team can review it manually.
