Connect Xero
2 min read
Send your wlbr invoices and fees straight into your books.
What the connection does
Connect Xero once and your wlbr activity flows into your accounting: invoices for your sales, and the platform fees recorded correctly so GST is never guesswork. Instead of exporting CSVs or re-keying transactions at the end of the month, your books stay in step with your payments automatically.
Setting it up
- Open your account settings and choose Connect Xero.
- Authorise wlbr in Xero's own consent screen - we never see your Xero password.
- Pick the organisation and accounts to post to. You can disconnect any time from the same place.
What flows into your books
Because payments on wlbr are funded bank-to-bank, there are no card processing fees to untangle - the fee lines you see in Xero are simply the flat 2% escrow fee (plus the 10% marketplace fee on wlbr task jobs), all GST-inclusive.
- Sales invoices for your released payments, so your income matches what buyers actually paid.
- The wlbr fees on each payment, recorded separately so the GST on fees is captured correctly.
- Payout references that line up with the deposits landing in your bank feed, making reconciliation a match instead of a hunt.
If something stops syncing
The most common cause is an expired Xero authorisation - reconnect from the same settings page and syncing resumes. If invoices or fees look wrong after reconnecting, contact support with the payment reference and we will straighten out the posting.
Disconnecting Xero stops future syncing but never touches what is already in your books.
